New York NY: World Trade Center Observatory

After 14 years since the 9/11/01 disaster, visitors may once again view the dramatic Manhattan skyline from nearly a quarter-mile high at the World Trade Center. The new observatory is on Floors 100 to 102 at One World Trade Center, and is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, May 29.

The observatory includes three restaurants, bar, shops, historical artifacts and glass floor scenes. While rising in the elevator, guests can watch video of 500 years of Manhattan history. Tickets: adult $32, senior $30, child $26. For more info, go to www.oneworldobservatory.com

New Orleans LA: WWII Road To Berlin Experience PDF Print E-mail


The exhibit, called Campaigns of Courage, is now open to visitors at the National World War II Museum. When entering, visitors will be given an electronic device called the Dog Tag Experience.
