San Francisco CA: Beautiful City Of Long-Ago Memories PDF Print E-mail

It maybe was a bit spoiled by the hippie movement in the 1950s and by today’s homeless wanderers. However, your travel4seniors.com editor believes it’s still one of the world’s greatest travel destinations. My memories go way, way back to the 1940s as a teenage Navy sailor, the City By The Bay was a most welcome sight when I returned from World War 2 Pacific campaigns.

And they’re all still there today: The Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, Chinatown dining, Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf and Nob Hill. No wonder Tony Bennett left his heart there. When planning your next senior travels, consider putting San Francisco on your must-visit list. You’ll take home your own timeless memories.
